Who should attend?
Anyone can benefit from a Visionary Forum — whether you have a clear vision you would like to pursue, or would like to work
on creating one.
Dreams can take a wide variety of forms: changing careers, finding and developing a meaningful relationship, improving family
life, starting a business or non-profit organization, achieving an athletic goal, learning a musical instrument or mastering a
language, traveling around the world, achieving business or professional recognition, getting an academic degree, or
pursuing an area of talent or personal growth.
The list of possible goals is as broad and diverse as the range of people in the room.
NOTE: If you are currently working with a mental health provider, we suggest you discuss the Visionary Forum with him or
her in regard to your particular situation. We will be happy to provide Visionary Forum materials for the discussion.
What is a typical Forum day like?
A typical all-day Visionary Forum event lasts from eight to twelve hours and includes brief breaks for lunch and dinner, during
which time you may be networking to follow up on suggestions made earlier in the day. Activities for the day are described in
the What to expect section of this website.
Shorter Visionary Forum events — from one hour talks to two-hour seminars and half-day events — are scheduled
periodically.
Please check the Forum Schedule section of this website for details.
How do Forums differ from other workshops and seminars?
Visionary Forums are intensive and highly interactive. They take their cue from the people attending and the visions they
are pursuing.
There is a structured presentation that supplies essential background material, but much of your time is spent in a mix
of personal reflection, focused conversation, guided networking, and shaping your personal vision aloud with the presenter's
help and the support of the group.
The presenter is deeply attuned to the consciousness of those present, and every direction, question, and comment is aimed
at helping participants get and stay connected to their highest selves and deepest wisdom.
